Burrator Reservoir

 On the way home from my parents I dropped in to Dartmoor's Burrator Reservoir for a few mid morning shots. 

Porth Beach, Newquay

 This morning my step father and myself took a trip to my old stomping ground where as a child and young man I spent many hours with my mates. Here are a few images I took today.

Sherborne Castle & Gardens

This morning I was as early as my body would allow. 9am!!

Packed up the camera and lenses, a few filters and off to Sherborne Castle I went. Arrived at 10am. Beautiful walk around the castle gardens, as the castle is still closed, and around the lake. Wonderful colours of Autumn are on show now. Shame the sky was as cloudy as it was. But it was not going to stop me.

Sutton Bingham early morning

 This morning I took a little drive to one of my favourite spots. Sutton Bingham Reservoir in Somerset. Just outside of Yeovil where I reside.

Its a wonderful place to shoot with your camera. Plenty of birdlife. Great view. There is also a lovely walk partially around the area. I think that next week I may get up early to do some more. So picturesque and tranquil.

Lancashire Canal at Guys Thatched Cottage

Yesterday I spent the morning at a lovely canal. Taking photos with my Huawei P30 Pro and Canon EOS 400D.
It was very early in the morning. The ducks were out in force and the local Heron paid us a visit.

Dunster Castle, Somerset

This morning I took a trip out to see Dunster Castle near Minehead. It is run by the National Trust. Magnificent building high up in the hill. Wonderful views. 

Montacute House

Day off today so a pre-booked trip to visit Montacute House, near Yeovil. The gardens were open but the actual property was still closed due to Covid-19. 

Its a magnificent looking building set in some wonderful gardens and surrounding countryside. Typically English setting.
